This is Maya, my heart and soul - she's my absolute world. The very definition of an amazing, beyond wonderful, incredible, and overall perfectly balanced dog. I could not be luckier to have her in my life. She is 3 years, 9 months old. Every bit of wit, charm, intelligence, and so many more words that may sound beyond describing a dog.
This is Dexter. My mischievous, curious, spontaneous bundle of joy. He's full of energy and just an extremely loving personality. He loves his older more mature better half, his big sister who's teaching him the ropes on a day by day basis. Although he's passed her in size - weight and height. Maya definitely picks up the slack on days I don't get to train as hard with them. He's DDR/Czech and traits from each really shine in their own moments. He's 9 months old, 83lbs. Just getting into his almost stubborn teen like stage just a hint of it but we are working through it before it has a chance to bloom and he turns into a little butt hole .
She definitely makes me laugh and constantly smile. It's a privilege having Maya and Dexter in my life for sure. Maya is protection trained, IPO2. She has tremendous ball drive and extremely agile. Dexter is more 50/50 ball/prey. He shows great potential and has an outstanding bite and grip. I wouldn't label him outside of basic IPO just yet though even many trainers probably would. I'm looking to refine his abilities in a different manner slightly from Maya's as he is his own dog and has his own characteristics.. Very versatile. Would make a wonderful search and rescue dog. I'm very anxious to work with him and watch as he matures into the ultimate "bad boy" dog and his skills farther develop. Although it be wonderful if they stayed puppies longer and then stop growing at around 3 haha.
