Shepherd mix?

I am wondering, we just recently got a german shepherd pup, which has led me to do doing lots and lots of research on german shepherds. We have another dog, an in home service dog, 5 years old, had her since she was a baby. Her name is Summer. We know that her mom was a full blooded black lab, but she has a lot of traits of the german shepherd. She is entirely too long haired to be a lab. She is very big on energy, very smart, very protective. She is full grown and weighs right about 60 lbs. In her litter there were yellow pups and pups that looked like german shepherds. She definitely doesn't have lab ears. I am wondering if you all can take a look at her and see what you think, please? Oh, and she sheds constantly, lol.

It's pretty much impossible to tell, but my personal opinion is that she is not mixed with GSD.
