Photo Shopped? I can't say about this picture for sure, but I can tell you from experience that the "dog carrying the cat" can certainly happen. Our previously loved White German Shepherd, carried my daughters cat all around the back yard. The first time we saw the shepherd "JR" carrying the cat we almost died, then we realized the cat was in no harm.......

My old shepherd mix used to carry around the cat like this until the neighbour saw and thought the dog had killed the cat... None of the other cats we've had (three now) would put up with this at all.
