I am getting ready for a 5K9, and I want to bring Lena, so I figured we would condition together. After our run I let her off leash to stretch a bit.

At her age, she still tore around like a pup. I was exhausted!

LOL, you mean a 5K? the K9 part was probably just an unconscious addition. :)

Nope. It's a 5k9. Participants are allowed to run with their dogs. It is in conjunction with a Bark in the Park put on by our humane society.

Actually my Lab will be running it as well, but with a friend whose Dobie is having some health issues. But she ran one with me last year too. Did great!!!!

Oh cool! Bet your dogs really enjoy the training up to it. :) Love it when people and their dogs have venues to like that to participate in.
