Default Bones in the Backyard!

This is why I don't let my dog outside with supervision! I was playing fetch with her and the ball landed behind the shed. When she didn't come immediately running back to me I walked back there to investigate. She had been distracted by a pile of leafs but something white caught my eye and I turned around the find this

Eww!
Needless to say we avoided that area of the yard and will continue to do so until my DH removes it!

Sorry for your experience.

I have no idea what it is, but it definitely had some teeth on it! So glad that Jade didn't try to eat it

That's exactly what I was thinking, the teeth are big and sharp, and is that still fur around it?

How big is it? Kind of looks like a Possum from this angle...

There was a tan looking fur all around it. The head looked like it was a little bigger than my palm. I didn't get to close and fur and leaves covered the rest of it so its hard to tell its exact size.

My pups bring me all kinds of interesting 'finds'. Although they aren't from my 'back yard'.

In fact I have a small skull that nobody can figure out what it once was. It's kind of a conversation piece now that sits on my porch. The dogs totally ignore it.
