Snow and Coaties
Ah, the joy of having a coated dog when it snows ....

And the same applies to Powder Puff Chinese Cresteds ...

Wow! So glad I don't have to deal with that.

Rocket has only had ice balls inbetween his toes once-- and we have snow on the ground most of the winter, and hike several times a week in it. Does he get that every time or only if its wet and heavy? (Or dry or whatever kind does that ha?)
|
Mostly only when it's wet snow does he get the Butt Balls (as I call them).
He ALWAYS has the snow packed in the pads of his feet. I call his Fred-A when he comes in the house with them because it sounds like he's tap dancing! :) |
Lol! That's a laugh!! I don't think Rocket's really all that long-haired. I mean he is, but he seems to not be long on his ears and feet. I think that's what helps him avoid it. He mostly just looks shaggy, like he needs a haircut ha ha.
