My wife and I are trying to figure out what our new adopted dog is. He is about 12 months old weighing at 45lbs. My wife and I are thinking definitely Australian Shepherd but the other part were assuming a Border Collie or a Chow?

I have fostered several Aussies for Aussie rescue and i would say that he is definitely part Aussie or Border collie. It is tough to tell the two apart, but for some reason he looks more Aussie than border collie to me. Not sure why. Maybe the other part is chow, that i wouldn't know.
