1yr Anniversary at Schutzhund (pics)
Today marks 1 year since switching to our new Schutzhund club, and looking back on it feels like I've been here forever. Aiden and I have accomplished quite a lot this past year with LWDC. We got our IPO1 and came pretty darn close to our IPO2. Our trialing plans for the Spring are to shoot for an OB2 and TR2 while we are working on fixing the problems in protection. I have no doubt that we will eventually get the IPO2 with some time. A year ago, before switching clubs, I never even considered trialing for an IPO1. This club has done some amazing things for Aiden and I. We've made some great friends and met some truly amazing people and trainers along the way. I can't wait to see what the next year brings for us.
We had a really good day overall, with nice obedience from Aiden and some fun in protection. I had been feeling a little down about our most recent protection sets, so Aiden had a few weeks off and he came back today with a vengeance. Thanks guys! I'm pretty proud of the little booger.
 I'm lucky I have a fellow club member willing to operate my camera when I'm working with Aiden. She does a great job.

Love the pictures! And congrats on how far you both have gotten!!! Duke and I share some of the same struggles, and it really helps to see you two do so well. It gives me some hope that maybe Duke isn't done just yet.

What I see in these pictures. is the bond.. and the team work that you have with your dog.. awesome pictures.. that, IMO, says alot.
