Do I see a little cat helper there at the bath tub?

Yes! That is Miss Gigi. Finn found her in a ditch near the fire department about six months ago. He wouldn't leave said ditch alone, so when I called him to leash him, he came back with a ball of grey fur in his mouth. I thought he killed a squirrell. I told him to "drop it" and he gently placed the kitten on the ground and there she was. She was a muddy mess and I couldn't just leave her. I took her home, cleaned her up, put up posters just in case someone was missing a kitten, and vetted her. She was only seven weeks old and had a belly full of worms.

She and Finn have been inseperable ever since:

That is not an uncommon position to find them in. For the first week she was home, she would snuggle into him for a nap to keep warm. He allows her a bit more latitude than the other cats; he allows her in his kennel to sleep on his pillows and she grooms him all the time without so much as a fuss from him. When the bath picture was taken, she was reaching her paw under the door and pulling his towel under the door. She was meowing up a storm. Minute she came in, she was happy. She sat next to the tub or on the edge of the tub for the rest of the bath.

Finn is a handsome boy, how does he stay so clean looking. Finn is Miss Gigi's guardian angel, they look so cute snuggled together, thanks for sharing with us.

I ask myself that all the time. I don't do anything unusually special for him other than having a good quality whitening shampoo. If it's muddy outside, I'll rub his legs and belly down with a wet towel to get the mud off, but I'm sure everyone does that with their dogs.

He loves her to pieces. Part of me was angry with him that day; he is usually so obedient and once you say 'leave it', it's left alone, but he went back twice. I think he knew that, if he didn't bring her back with him on the third time, she was going to get left behind. I couldn't be angry with him after that.
