Diesel and Me
 

This is the last picture that was ever taken of my beautiful GSD, named Diesel and myself. Picture was taken on a hot sunny summer afternoon at a private beach/warf on the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, Canada.

My baby girl Diesel was sadly ripped away from us too soon at the age of 2 years and 8 months old. The first and only time she had decided to not come to her recall and actually took off from the yard was her last, as she ran into traffic and was hit by a truck.

I still have horrible nightmares as it took place right in front of me. Part of me wishes I never saw it, but the majority screams "but at least you were there for her in the end!"

My you rest in peace my angel and let us one day be reunited!

Gretting from a fellow Maritmer, lovely photos and I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad though you were able to share a happy memory with us here.

Your girl was beautiful....the pics you posted are lovely. She looked very happy.

I read your in loving memory thread. That is every dog owners worst nightmare. :( I am sorry for your loss. Welcome Aboard though these are a great bunch of people here.

So sorry for your loss, that had to have been a horrible day. She was a pretty girl.
