That's great. I have that too. My cat Buddy HATES Gunner but my other one, Nikki "tolerates" him.
It's been 4 years, I don't see it changing anytime soon. The fact that you see progress is awesome. Maybe they'll be harmony soon.

I know, I'm so proud of Boomer for venturing into the room with Baxter, little by little. We moved their cat tower over so there's a safe "bridge" (a dresser that we use for mail, keys, etc.) for him to travel across. He's slowly becoming more and more comfortable with it.
AND it's a great training opportunity for Baxter. If he can't listen to the "leave it" command, we simply practice a down-stay while Boomer builds up some confidence!

That is a great picture! I love the dog/cat relationships. I have never seen such a large dog (Meeah is 75lbs) be so afraid of a cat whom is at best 20 lbs! I actually have to escort Meeah around our cat because she is too scared to walk past her sometimes. Guess she had a few lessons in kitty respect!
