Trent, Predator to Grass and Cuz's

I have about a million pictures from the past month to edit, so posting a few at a time while I edit the rest. Sorry for the bad quality, these were taken with an older (but new to me) zoom lens. Just wanted something with better zoom, but hopefully I will eventually learn to get better still and action shots.

Okay up close portraits with the right lighting! These are straight out of camera (I think) except for the crop.

The fearsome predator... is apparently an herbivore.

Stunning as usual, I especially love the second one!

Curious, is his dam or dire a solid black? My pups dam is and he is also pretty dark like Trent.

He's a beautiful dog and such a good poser too. :)

Thank you for the compliments!

Trent is one of the darker puppies from his litter, although his black is receding over time. Neither his dam nor sire are solid black, actually, but he does take after his dam in coat pattern and facial markings. Her side of the pedigree includes many blanket back patterned black/tans, whereas Trent's sire is a black/tan saddle back (one of the few working lines I know with a saddle, interestingly enough). His side of the pedigree has much lighter markings.
