Great pics! It's crazy how much Kaiser has grown up!!!

He doesn't even look like the same dog when I compare these two pictures (granted, the itty bitty Kaiser was taken with some gorgeous sunlight...the big Kaiser was taken on a very foggy day...so the colors are not really comparable, though he was a very pretty dark sable color as a pup)

Awesome photos! I especially love the one with Dakota and the big stick :D. The comparison between Kaiser as a pup to now, wow how those sables change :). He's still absolutely adorable
I'll trade you one day of snow here and I'll come down to the beach for a day ;) lol

I LOVE the snow :) So does Dakota! She saw REAL snow a few years ago in the mountains. Kaiser hasn't had a chance to see it yet. I'm originally from Chicago so I do miss a good snow in winter, although I do NOT miss the ice.

the 2nd pic is beautiful! and i love that you got another pic of him running on the beach just like when he was a wee little guy :) Suuuuper jelous you can go to the beach in January...how warm is it there?...kinda dreading the answer haha..it is -4 degrees celcius here but with the wind chill felt like -14 which isnt too bad but the wind is so cold today. We just had beautiful weather this past weekend with temps in the low teens, felt like spring!...such a tease though to throw us back to the colder temps now though...

We definitely have mild winters here at the beach, but Dakota has always preferred colder weather (as I am now convinced Kaiser does, too). They are much more active when its not 90 degrees out. I'm a fan of mid-60's with sun. Thats the perfect temp imo :)

Stunning photography and boy! I absolutely love Kaiser and Dakota and always look forward to your photos. We had a fun beach trip this winter, too.

Thanks! We are lucky to live at the beach, but I can't remember the last time I took the pups to play ON the beach! It seems its either raining, too windy, or I'm working. It was very foggy when I took them (and these pictures) so I had to boost the contrast and deepen the blacks quite a bit to get any sort of detail back. The only picture we took fog-less was the second one (it was in-between fog clouds, lol)
