WOW! great photos!!! GORGEOUS dogs!! I love the look of dobermans! They play so well together its awesome! I would love to see some "caption contests" on a couple of these pictures because I am sure they would be hilarious!! Also I like the watermark, clever and fitting!

Can I just say that I absolutely LOVE the photos that you take? You capture such fun moments of your dogs! I also think they're gorgeous - and adorable.

Thank you! They get along fabulous. A GSD and Dobe combo is perfect for me, they are so different in breed traits and personality but it's a good mix for me.

They are therapy dogs by day and spiked collar wearing deterrents at night when I am out by myself in public I am 105 lbs and have had grown men turn and walk in the other direction when I've been out walking my Dobe. I've ran into 3 types of people regarding the breed...

1. The "wow you never see these dogs around, I've never touched one, beautiful animal" types.

2. The "omg get that thing away from me, how do you live with one? Don't you know their brain grows too big for their skull because they are Rottweiler mixed with greyhound and they always turn on their owners??" types.

3. What kind of dog is that? Dobermans don't come in other colors than black" types.

7 weeks is the norm regarding good breeders. That gives them time to handle the surgery and aftercare for the new owner so the pup will be in posts by the time it goes home. A good breeder will never leave the cropping up to the new puppy owner unless it's a situation with an imported puppy from a country that bans c/d. I've seen people buy dobes from
BYBs and then scramble around to find a skilled doberman cropping vet(rare) and try and get the ears done at 13 or 14 weeks. Not good.

Gorgeous photos! Doberman is my second favorite breed after GSD. Was nice to see professional pix of both of them! What camera and lens did you use?
