He was listening to a Shih-Tzu making a huge racket in the waiting room, it was ridiculously loud out there.

Yep, once he has the muzzle on he was kinda goes 'Okay'. And lets the vet get on with it - he doesn't like strangers, he really doesn't like strangers in a loud scary office who come at him with needles! They all know him there, they use the littlest baby needles for him, and let me wait in the car until the room is ready so he doesn't have to deal with the crazy dogs out in the waiting area there.
