Woohoo!
Santa brought me a very special GSD! ![]() He looks incredibly like Hans, is a male, saddleback, even has a reverse mask, for goodness' sake! I was so happy to receive him, I danced around! He will fit in very well here. However, he will require very careful handling, as he is somewhat old and fragile, but in incredible shape for his age. Quite the big fella, too! ![]() YEAH! Pics coming momentarily... uploading now... |

And here he is!
![]() I knew you would appreciate this gorgeous vintage Hutschenreuther German Shepherd! Gosh, he looks just like my boy!Looks fantastic in front of my framed 1940s National Georgaphic magazine page featuring a likeness of Hans. The Hutschenreuther figurine was made in Germany probably in the 1960's and is so incredibly detailed that I can even see his teeth, and you know I am a big fan o'those matchless GSD choppers. ![]() Just wanted to share my joy-- and to say Happy New Year! Anyone else get GSD related gifts? ![]()

![]() I would love to get GSD related gifts but everyone I know thinks I'm nuts for having four dogs.

Very cool, and you don't have to housebreak it!
I have a statue very similar(found at goodwill) it has Shefford/Japan sticker and 162 numbered. Not as detailed as yours, however. My DH got me a Tasin meat grinder...that is GSD related right? LOL! Oh, and one of my clients made me these amazing pillows. She took a pic of Karlo at 4 months old off my fb page and did a pillow on her embroidery machine. What a great gift that I'll treasure! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Sunflowers, that is a REALLY nice gift!! I'd be thrilled, too!
Jane- the pillow is really special. What a great gift! I didn't get anything GSD related, but I did get a Petsmart gift card that I'm going to use to help pay for Grim's new kennel for the van. Does that count? |

My mom had a Christmas tree ornament made for Gaia, being the grinch that I am it's already packed away for next year. I got a new jacket and boots for those chilly walks and training days

Thanks, guys! It's m y first GSD "thing."
Jane, that is a fabulous gift. Please give a review when you can. Would love a grinder that can handle bones, but most are hayyuuuge and would need their own zip code... |
