Great pictures! I also got a Canon T41 for Christmas. I absolutely love it! Were these pics taken on the auto focus setting?

They're all great pictures! I'm curious about your third picture (from the first set of pics you posted). When using the auto focus setting, did you use the touch screen to focus on your dog's profile, causing the background to be somewhat blurry or did the auto focus automatically zoom in on him and do that? Sorry if the question sounds dumb but I am just an amateur trying to learn everything about this camera!!
