Here is a short video of some of his tricks I haven't did a video of him in awhile. I had Chief in the bedroom, so he wasn't knocking Smokey all over. Smokey slides easy on the wood floors

When he was a pup he was on ol roy. I was to young at the time to buy anything or know there was even a bad or good dog food when I got old enough I switched him to chicken soup, then anther brand that i dont remember it was super high in chondroitin and glucosamine, but that didn't go well, then he was on EVO then I switched him to Blue, because he started getting diarrhea, then back to EVO because I realized he wasn't doing good because he doesn't do well with fish and I was feeding him the Salmon and herring EVO, then we were on EVO red meat after the blue and I just switched him t TOTW, because EVO was getting to expensive, so he has had a variation' of food, but not to much for being 17. This wasn't all back to back it was years in between.
He has had all kinds of pain meds for his arthritis and been on a bunch of different chondroitin and glucosimine some that were made for horses and such.

thanks for info, i was just wondering if there is any comparability in the longetivity + long term health of a RAW versus good kibble diet - make a great study, you could just use existing dogs/owners and not make an "experiment" out of it - really just collect stats. sorry for going OT on yr thread.

He also was able to run in the woods most of his younger years we had a fence, but we couldn't keep him in he would dig out jump over annual eventually figured out hpw to just open the door, so we just let him run he always came back and when get got to be a few years old he wouldn't go in the woods without me, but when I would go hike with him everyday he would run and run so he's had plenty of exercise through his life also until I was old enough my dad never got him any shots except rabies.
No problem we are all here to learn
