Default Playing with Kong Wobbler

German Shepherd Playing with Kong Wobbler - YouTube

Just got this about a week ago and he loves it like crazy. Plays with it for 45 minutes to 1 hour. I put his full 2 cups in it and he goes at it all over the places. Flinging it between his legs across the room and diving at it. This one was pretty low key he was tired already we have did a lot of exercise and playing today. If your dog is food driven like mine yours will love it. Chief is also a super chewer and has only made a couple scratches on it. I put it up when the foods gone I don't leave it out

I also use it with Puppy. I try to make her work for all of her meals and food toys are my lazy-day backups.

I am thinking abut getting him the dog puzzle twister. I have been using the wobbler every other day or so. He gets so excited when he sees it.

Here's a video of him playing a short game of tug of war.

Cool! I just bought one of this and a few other Kong treat toys for my pup. I hope he likes them as much as your dog does. The puzzle toys I've seen at the stores look really fun too.

We have one too and Jake loved it. He is 11 months old and making him work for his dinner allowed a little down time.

He is on a homemade cooked diet now, so sadly we can't use treat balls anymore. But now that he is off commercial dog food he is calmer, more focused and I don't need to use such toys for a break anymore.

He certainly loves it. I have bought chief a few things Smokey a few and one of the both of them then they have a few gifts from people at my work. This will be Chiefs first gifts on Christmas. The Kong was part of Christmas to, but I couldn't wait. I wanted to get him an elk antler, but I didn't find out about them until I had already bought their other stuff, but they will get one soon! I love watching him bat that wobbler around the kitchen. He's like a little vacuumed sucking the kibble up. I think I'm going to get him the dog twister next. I have also thought about getting an agility set for our backyard, but those are expensive and I'm not even sure if he will get into it.

Agility is a blast but finding a good club/class/instructor is key. Not just for the instruction but also to figure out which equipment we really need to spend the money on and what we can just use in the weekly classes!

Best to spend all the money on the classes initially and then decide about equipment

I just dont know if he would be focused enough to do that with so many people and other dogs around. I know of a great trainer close that has a huge agility course, but I think she requires going to the basic training before you can do the agility and I dont have that much money.
I was thinking something like this for the first something cheap
Amazon.com: Kyjen Company DKYDG40100 Dog Agility Starter Kit: Pet Supplies Amazon.com: Kyjen Company DKYDG40100 Dog Agility Starter Kit: Pet Supplies

This is the one i really want to get
Amazon.com: Agility in the Bag: Pet Supplies Amazon.com: Agility in the Bag: Pet Supplies

It would be mostly for fun no competition or anything and since I'm having trouble with him getting scared and shutting down during training sessions i thought having one in the backyard would be best, but then again I still want to go to a basic training class with him sometime, so I don't know. I want just thinking something fun in our free time at home.
