Unhappy My Poor Girl

Koda has an upset tummy, so is currently sentenced to bed rest, chicken/rice/pumpkin diet, and is just miserable. Just took this (Matt got her a new toy to make her feel better ).

Taking advantage of her not feeling well:

Thank you, Mosul!

Msvette- Well, she apparently got into my coworker's bbq pork.. So our best guess (I work at a vet, so I had my boss look at her yesterday) is that the sauce tore her stomach up. I'm ready to bang my head against the wall for not catching it soon enough to have her throw it all up. She's finally eating a bit again so hopefully she's almost got it all out of her system. My boss gave us some Metro to help with her diahrrea and told me to keep her resting and drinking, and have her eat what she will. She finally did take some food a couple minutes ago, thank God. And she looks a bit better.

If she isn't 100% by Monday, he's going to look at her again when I get to work.

Pork is awfully rich and fatty.
Watch her closely - she could be developing pancreatitis.

I know. Between the pork and the bbq sauce on it... I'm quite furious with my coworker.

I'll keep an eye on her, of course, but I really hope she fully recovers once it's fully out of her system.

Just an update- Earlier I got her to eat a few bites of food from my hand. But she just worked up enough appetite to eat a decent amount of food (I'm not letting her eat too much at a time just in case), then followed me around talking and wagging her tail for a couple of minutes before laying back down with her toy and starting another nap.
I guess it's not a HUGE deal, but it made me very happy and I wanted to share.

I read them when my coworker admitted giving it to her. By that time it was too late to have her throw it up with peroxide, but my boss gave her something to flush her system quickly.
Unfortunately a side-effect is diarrhea, which she has terribly. Which is why he gave me the Metro for her. I'm also being careful to keep her hydrated. She SHOULD be all well by Monday, so we'll see. I'm feeling fairly optimistic because she ate some and is starting to have some energy again.

But I swear that every time I let anyone else watch my poor baby, something bad happens. UGH.
