Thumbs up Littermates! - Know of a good trainer in NY/CT?

We just got 2 updates with pictures from the Arko/Evi pups, how cool is that?! Here is the first one:

"Dennis,

I hope that you have enjoyed your fall. Here's a recent picture of Indy. He was promoted to Advanced Puppy class last weekend. He is very smart and loves to learn. We take a walk around the neighborhood every day and he does a great job of paying attention despite the waving flags and lawn care companies.

The boys love to play and interact with him. They have also attended most of the puppy classes. We actually go to two classes. One is a certified trainer that he can attend for agility classes later on. The other is a local vet office which offers good citizen classes.

Thanks again for such a great puppy.

Take care,

XXXX"

Then his sister...
"
Dennis,

Here are some recent pictures, she is growing like a weed. We went to the vet last night for her final round of shots and she is ~32 lbs. She is also getting much darker as you said she would, it is hard to tell in the pictures though.

You wouldn't happen to know any trainers in the lower NY/CT area would you? I know you are far away but I figured it can't hurt to ask.

How are her litter mates doing?

Regards,
XXXX"

And just to compare the different colors from this litter, one of Ivo, whom we are holding till a good working home is found...

Just gorgeous! As all of your pups are! I still can't believe my baby boy will be a year old in just a few weeks! How quickly the time has flown!!!

Look at those EARS! Two very lucky families to have those puppies.

Looking for a trainer that would take a Schutzhund novice.

I'm the one looking for a trainier around NY/CT. We are located in lower Dutchess County to be exact.

I am looking for a trainer that can help with setting a good foundation now and leave the future open for whatever may fit us.

We have been attending group lessons but I feel one-on-one would be a better fit for us. Piper learns quickly and then seems to get bored so we a little more personalized training.

Here is another picture of Piper (Inca v. Johnson-Haus) hard at work...

How far are you from Albany? There are quite a few Schutzhund clubs in our area. I belong to Liberty Working Dog Club, and our training director also teaches a basic obedience course.

Albany is almost 2 hours away, too far for regular training unfortunately.
