Poor pitiful Kaiser after his minor "toenail" surgery yesterday. He wasn't feeling too well on the drive home:

Poor guy hates the cone of shame but we can't keep him from chewing his foot. Either he pulls the sock off or he scratches off the wrap. With the cone, he just stands in one place looking miserable or he walks into things and won't relax. Ideas? I've tried bitter apple on the wrap exterior but it does not phase him. I know his toe hurts, but the vet said it needs to dry out so it really needs air flow...minus the probing Kaiser teeth.

Poor thing, they know how to pull the guilt trip hardcore don't they
If the cone works it's probably better just to leave it on until it's healed. They do have the inflatable collars which work like a cone but since it's a short term injury it might not be worth the cost I hope he feels better soon
