Default Pitiful Kaiser Pictures

Poor pitiful Kaiser after his minor "toenail" surgery yesterday. He wasn't feeling too well on the drive home:

So he decided to hire Mr. Shark to keep him safe while he recovered:

Once the meds wore off, he realized his toe hurt so out came the Cone of Shame:

At least he has the holidays to look forward to

Aside from his determination to play and chew his foot (sometimes at the same time), hes doing great

And thanks, I took the "kids'" picture at my trainer's store.

He has the look down well! Especially in the third photo, poor baby.

Love the last two as well. Great photography as always

Poor guy hates the cone of shame but we can't keep him from chewing his foot. Either he pulls the sock off or he scratches off the wrap. With the cone, he just stands in one place looking miserable or he walks into things and won't relax. Ideas? I've tried bitter apple on the wrap exterior but it does not phase him. I know his toe hurts, but the vet said it needs to dry out so it really needs air flow...minus the probing Kaiser teeth.

Poor thing, they know how to pull the guilt trip hardcore don't they

If the cone works it's probably better just to leave it on until it's healed. They do have the inflatable collars which work like a cone but since it's a short term injury it might not be worth the cost

I hope he feels better soon

I mean I might have giggled at his pitiful expression, but he did get lots of love's AND a bully stick (that I held for him to chew since he couldn't use his paws). And thanks...I think he is quite handsome too!
