I always had real trees growing up. As a family we hiked out to the woods and cut one down each year. It figures I had to find a guy who is really allergic to them but he is worth it.
He bought me a really nice fake one a few years ago. The good ones are super expensive. I have a big orange tree that sits in the corner of our kitchen so I decorate it like a pine tree. It has huge thorns on it so it pokes like one too.

I used to order them from a farm that sent them in a special box and promised them to be fresh and they were. Great trees. But their prices got so outrageous I quit buying them and the ones they sell around here are so dried out. I don't put up Christmas anything any more. I go to my brothers and they decorate. He has kids and I get in the Christmas spirit watching them at Christmas. What better Christmas then watching it in the eyes of a child.
