This first one was before I took the 30' leash off her because I realized she wasn't going to do more than bark at the cattle...
Oooh! Stream!!! I love water!!! ![]() Look! Cows! ![]() Running... running... always running! Can't do this in the city! (With her brother... who does not like to run but made an exception today.) ![]() ...did I mention she loves to run? ![]() Short break from running. ![]() ...AND she managed to keep her feet relatively poo-free! |

Your babies are gorgeous, they love to stretch out and run that's for sure. Speaking of the cow paddies, our first dog as a married couple was with us on a farm one time and he laid in that stuff and had it from his nose to his tail. Needless to say the ride home was very arromatic.

I was really surprised how much Caesar ran today! (Not a GSD - just an adorable mutt we adopted in '08.)
Caesar HATES running. I take him jogging and he does this funny reallyfastwalk but refuses to break into a canter... Today he cantered some. Kalypso was in full gallop a lot. lol Edit: Thanks Rocketdog. 1sttimeforgsd... do you mean "a-romantic?" hahaha

Was this her first time seeing cows? How did she do? I love the look on her face while she's running. Mine saw and could have chased some deer today, but they just stayed and watched them, made my day.

Thanks all for the compliments. We're super happy about how pretty she is.

HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! HI! I took her up to the herd on the leash but she stopped about 20' away and just barked a bit more... then just stared for about 30 seconds and wanted to go back to mommy and brother. So I took her off-leash and she was great. Totally ignored them after that.

We went to a ranch where the bulls were fenced in and the wrangler told his dog "go get them" and the dog ran up to the fence and bit one of the bulls on the face....
The dog only had one eye and I pretty much figured out why lol Good thing your dog (and you) were smarter than this! |
