Default Cowboy is nearly 9

Especially for those of you who remember Cowboy from years ago on this very forum, he has DM, but we still take him swimming and he loves it! Getting a little cold now though.

Just a couple of short videos of my old man in the backyard eating that green/white grass all dogs love so much and at our favorite swimming hole just north of the city. Took the video in my backyard from my phone and couldn't figure out how to rotate it. LOL.

Thank you so much for sharing. I love the older guys/girls! Something just so special about a sweet older dog.

Awww... I do so wish they stayed young longer.
He is beautiful, and he looks happy.

Do you still call him The Doctor?

Oh I call him all sorts of weird names. Mister Fluffy Trousers, Toy Loy, sweetboy, Doc, the doctor, malloy, cowboy. He just smiles. But I'm already getting that panicky feeling - that feeling of doom - knowing I'm going to lose him. I'm horribly sad when we have to stop and rest on our long walks now. I know I shouldn't think like this but I don't know how I'm going to be okay when he goes.
