Introducing Sophie von Baerchenhaus!

I'd like you to meet my new little girl - Sophie von Baerchenhaus. Sophie came home two weeks ago today in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. We had no electricity and no heat at the time, but that didn't seem to bother her. She fit right in. She's been doing great with housebreaking and has slept through the night right from the start.

Sophie was three months old yesterday. She was born the day that my Little Bear (Heidi) died. One of Sophie's great great grandmothers was Heidi's mother. She's also a great great granddaughter of Dallas.

Sophie is a busy little girl! She's pretty laid back and has a really sweet personality. When we went to the vet last Saturday, she weighed 21#. I've had to increase her space in the crate three times and make her collar bigger twice. Can't wait to see her all grown up, but enjoying the puppy stage for now.

Your little Sophie is a beautiful little girl, and I am sorry about the loss of your precious Heidi. As you know, enjoy the puppy stage because they grow up so fast, and thank you for sharing her with us.

Congratulations, she's adorable! I'm sure you've had your hands full with the storm and now your precious little girl.
