Beau in the Nantahala River

When we went on our vacation a motorocycle dude (motorcyle bob) took some pictures of Beau and he just got home from his adventure and emailed them to me:

(I need a good camera! Cell phone just could not handle)--Beau had a blast. I had to work to keep him out of the whitewater though.

Man...he has a "look" about him. He looks like a solid boy, it will be interesting to see pics of him at physical maturity. Very handsome

You know he reminds me of that puppet character "ALF" . He is just over 15 months there. HE looks so lean to me but I know he has some bulking up to do. That facial expression IS his character! I was CONSTANTLY calling him back in. He wanted to get in that middle section of the river so bad.

Poor old Grim (my other boy) He loves to swim and was with us but with his back issues (probably disc compression injury) we were concerned he might twist his back on the slippery rocks. So he had to wait this one out in the truck

. But he had plenty of other fun.

Beau got put on lead when he started to take off after what we think was a bear in the water upstream. I called him to a stop but better safe than sorry. We left shortly after.

Great pictures, it must have been a nice surprise to get the pics from motorcyle bob. Beau looks like he had a blast, he's a nice looking dog!
