Default Sophie after our run this morning

Here are pictures of Sophie after our 4 mile run this morning. I must not have worn her out because she obviously doesn't appear as exhausted as I was LOL.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, right LOL. I think she has been laughing at me all the way during the run...leisurely trodding next to me. Disgusting LOL.

I always feel like my dog is laughing at me when I run! I am always panting and sweating and he is at my side just hardly making any effort. I will try to run as fast as I can just so that he has to stop trotting and actually run, and he just gives me this weird look like "What are you doing? I don't think you can keep up!"

Your beautiful girl looks like she is waiting on you to go start the run, she doesn't look like she just finished one. Thanks for sharing with us.

Yeah, yeah, yeah..that one. I tried to speed up, too but I think that excessive huffing and puffing coming with that confused her. She kept on trying to jump up on me like "mommy, are you ok?" ...disgusting. I am like...how does she do that? They have 4 legs to coordinate. I can barely coordinate my two LOL. Seemed I was going a nice fast speed to me....but obviously I am fooling myself. I wonder if sometimes our animals feel sorry for us at how helpless we really are.

She looks content with herself And feeling much better after the incident! Glad to see her enjoying herself and getting out there!

This might be a silly question, but is the cape something that's used for running specifically? I am planning to run with my dog (a year a half from now, since I'm not getting a pup til June) and am curious about the best ways to do so.

Yes, she is doing great. Not even a single bark when we pass multiple dogs on the route. She looks but does not move toward them or bark. I am so proud of her. By the way, that prong collar works like magic

Not a silly question at all. You can use the cape during other events as well such as hiking, etc. There are some really nice ones out there with pockets so you can put the dog's water bottle in there. Mine doesn't have the pockets but has reflective strips for the times when I run at sun sets or when it still is somewhat dark. It also helps her stay warm. You can run with or without a covering. That is entirely up to you. If you do decide to get one, have her wear it at home so she can get used to it. It took a little while for Sophie to not think she should shake it off LOL. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your puppy when you get her/him.
