Personally I'm not a big fan of it... it can make for some striking landscapes, but it sometimes looks cartoonish to my eye. I haven't played around with it yet though, so I'm sure there are some applications that would give the subject a cool surreal effect.

Miss Molly May, no there is not a setting on the camera. It is accomplished by taking a few pics at all different exposures and a program combines them together..
Freestep, I can understand where you are coming from. It does make some objects look a little cartoonish. It looks a lot better on landscape settings IMO. I just though it looked cool how it made my German shepherd look like someone painted a pic of her. |
