Meet Chip! (Pic Heavy)

Our newest addition, Chip. He's a Heeler Mix, about 9 months old. He came from a Shelter in Ft. Lupton, North of here. All we know is that the Shelter was overcrowded and he got moved.

He's very sweet, docile, gets along with other dogs, cats. He's pretty mellow around the house, though he paces a lot (I think that's due to the fact that he's in a new home and isn't settled yet). I can tell he's going to be a climber, he keeps trying to put his paws up on the counter to see what's going on, haha. Better nip that in the bud... Aside from that, he just needs a little work with housebreaking, but he seems to be a perfect fit.

He's obviously a Heeler Mix, but I can't for the life of me imagine what else might be in him. Anyone have any ideas?

He is so stinking cute!

Maybe he's a ACD/Sheltie mix? He looks like his nose is a little longer.

Or maybe a ACD/Beagle mix?

I definitely see ACD in him though.

Chip is mixed with cuteness.

You have beautiful babies by the way, dogs and kitties. And I assume that is your boyfriend in the pictures, he is also a keeper.

For some reason, the first breed that came to mind when I saw his face was Basenji. Not sure how that could've happened though, lol.

At least I'm not the only one!!!!!!

That is also what I see. Not only on the face, but in some of the fulll body shots as well.

Never even considered Basenji! Trey and I were just talking about it and we think that's a very real possibility. Good observation!

Took him out in the snow a bit ago, he doesn't seem to dig it too much
