A blast from the past/reserve winners

Found this pic today of Dodge ..This was his very first show in the 9-12 class and took a Major RWD back in '96.

Never forget that day huge show, big name handlers, and this black dawg comes out of nowhere and takes rwd, 1/2 german to boot, some weren't happy but it was a glorious day

And I should say, no I wasn't the handler,,the handler backed out at the last minute, this was a friend of mine who showed springers LOL she'd never shown a shepherd before

He took a major reserve the first time out from the puppy class? Congratulations!

yeah a MAJOR reserve

That darn dog, I showed him maybe 10-11 times and every stinken time he was a "reserve" you know kinda like the best man but never the groom? LOL..I was happy with that, he was a good boy
