Anything that looks like this is easier on their coats than nylon/polyester webbed. But the reason I asked if you walk her on it or use a harness or other training collar is that a puppy pulling can stretch out or even snap the leather type. Not necessarily a usual occurrence, but if you walk her on a regular collar you might want to continue with the webbed and leave the leather one on for a tag or whatever, at least that's how we usually do.
