The thing is that I manually resize the pics when I uploaded them to photobucket but sometimes the pictures still show in the original size, even though, on photobucket, they are already resized. I don't get it.

Why do you have to manually resize them? You set the size to upload them to in the options. Set it for 800x600 and they'll upload to that size.
