Default Gone Swimming!

Its been ridiculously hot here lately 102 F with 90% humidity today. Miserable for human and dogs alike, perfect timing for the A/C to quit at my house. After scaring the life out of the AC repair man it was time for a trip to the lake. Jesse and AJ would swim all day if you let them

And few shots from this winter its sad that I'm wishing for snow again but it sure beats 100+

Thanks for the comments everyone.

AJ (the dark sable) is very protective of the house/yard. Strangers are not welcome there when I'm gone. He knows a few close friends and my mom and dad. They can come and go without issue. But he doesn't like people he doesn't know and the A/C unit is in the back yard where he stays when I'm at work.

He was a rescue so I don't know his history/socialization but he only trusts a very select few people. He is fine with anyone when I'm there but when I leave he's a different dog. I've been working with him on being more friendly and he's come along way in the 9 months I've had him. I think that getting neutered at the shelter helped him lose a lot of his attitude. Like I said I'll never know his breeding or how he was trained/treated before I got him but his protection/guarding instinct is very high.
