After nearly three years of nothing but a barren, dirt landscape, my parents can finally afford to furnish their back yard with a pool!
Many visits home from College left me sitting on the back patio, a cigarette in one hand, staring at a yard scattered with dead desert brush and the occasional tumbleweed having blown into the yard. Not very appealing. Production on the much needed oasis began last week and while it's been difficult as the dogs can't be in the yard as often as they were, they still have access sometimes. Consequently, Koda decided he would somehow get down into the hole dug for the pool. I didn't notice until after he had done it, but I had to run and grab my camera...![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Both Koda and Riley playing in some of the dirt. ...And the best part about Koda getting down in the hole they dug for the pool..... ![]() He took a poop in there!!!! Hahaha!! That's my boy!

Real dogs dig their own swimming pool holes!
![]() Just kidding about the "real" comment. ![]() My name kind of gives it away but she isn't even a GSD, she's a Malinois. I was browsing the forum and came across this thread and thought I'd post this picture. This pic is kind of a graphic illustration of "if you don't find something for your dog to do, they'll find something anyway, and you probably won't like it!" |
