I have that same exact gate and since my pup is so intently focused on the cat, we welded in another rod to cut the size of the cat door in half. That picture is hilarious though, great catch!

I have that gate, but Damian's head couldn't even fit through it!

Oh god, my worst fear! Regen and Osa took down the cat gate, evil creatures...they high-speed chase/wrestled into it and it came out of the wall...it even had the caps drilled in!
Your pup looks like a contortion artist!

I have a gate thats 4 feet tall, same type of metal gate as in the picture (minus the cat door.) I used to have it at the top of the stairs, in a doorway that didn't have a door. My bedroom was the basement. One day after Logan died, I came home and was greeted at the front door by Tessa. She had somehow jumped the gate from the stairs. So absolutely no running start possibility, and higher than 4 feet...

I too have the same gate. No dogs go through the cat door though. Connor does just shove it over, he has done in a few baby gates. I did have a female GSD (24 inches, 60 lbs) who once jumped in a and turned around in a 100 crate of a friends toy poodle. She had taken a cookie out to show me how her little fellow would jump up on the St.poodles crate and go into his, tapped the crate and said kennel, so she did! We still don't know how she did it.

The gate I have can't be shoved over. It came with these 4 "cups" that screw in to the doorway, then you pressure mount it into the cups. it prevents it from being shoved over like the regular pressure mounts, and I've also found it actually does less damage to the door frame. When I've moved this gate, all it left was the holes from the screws while other gates left big indents in the wood.
