Two intact littermates is an accident waiting to happen. You will have to be very diligent in keeping them apart when she starts her cycle and thruout. Tricky heat cycle may just end up with an oops litter. Maybe you could board your male somewhere during those times, but still....It will be very hard to manage if you aren't on top of things.

Keeping them apart with a female in heat is an entirely different challenge then when she is not in heat. Males will do ANYTHING to get to a bitch in heat. It is not a good idea to keep a female in heat outdoors. You not only have to worry about your male getting to her but other males. Her scent can be picked up from long distances.
If at all possible I would get her spayed to avoid an oops litter. |
