We had a white Christmas for the first time in 130 something years. Last night we got slammed again, 8 inches which is being followed by sleet/freezing rain. Georgia has been in a state of emergency since early yesterday (way before the snow hit) Rocky is dying to go play in the snow but he has to wait for the kids to wake up.
This is from last night a few hours after the snow started. Best picture DH could get was the front porch railing. ![]() ![]() I took these this morning. The snow now has a nice layer of ice on it and it is really crunchy. The snow is deep enough on the back deck that my son had to put it out of the way last night with the door. This morning the ice covered snow is scraping against the bottom of the door. ![]() ![]() As of right now the state has just about shut down. There are only a few cars on the road and alot of places are closed down. We are still under a state of emergency. Should be an interesting week.
