Thank you! He currently weighs about 35 lbs. He will get weighed again at the vet next week so I will get a more accurate reading.

Great, thanks for the response.

Reason I'm asking is we have a GSD mix and we are not sure what the other half is (initially we were told golden retriever, but she really does not exhibit any traits of a retriever), our vet seemed to agree, and when I asked what her final weight would be, he thought somewhere in the range of 45-50 lbs.

She exhibits most traits of a GSD, but you can tell she is certainly a mix with something else, we just don't know.

As of right now she is 13 weeks and weighs 16 lbs.

No problem. Were you able to see either of the parents when you picked up your pup? I would think that a GSD/Golden mix would weigh more than 45-50 lbs at adulthood.

No, we sort of broke the rules. Neither parent was there. But we fell in love with her and couldn't leave her behind.

She's been great, and we are not concerned at all, just more curious what the other half could be. She does have webbed feet which I believe are traits of a golden retriever.

I'm starting to think she could be a Belgian shepherd rather than a German shepherd to be completely honest.
