I think he will be about 80-85# as you assumed. That is a good weight IMO.

Saggio - my guess is 85-90.
Sarah - I agree with the vet, wouldn't be surprised to see 90-100.
My girl was 50 pounds at 6 months and is 70 at 18 months.

I think it depends on the genetics also. People always ask me how big I think Brody will get and I always tell them what mom and dad weighed in at!

Tony was really done growing at about 9 months. But it was really weird, when he was about 6 months, he grew about 3 inches length wise one night(OK, it just seemed like it). Tony is my 6th GSD and they all pretty much were done growing at about 9 months. Now they all did gain some weight and the chest got bigger/thicker.
