Nice way to end the year with the pupster

I took Halo for a 6 mile hike on Friday, and I brought my new wide angle lens that I got from my sister for Christmas for my Flip video camera. There's just a short clip of Halo walking with me, and some of her sitting on a bench at our water stop with the lake in the backround, and then later out on the trail. It's a beautiful place, only about a mile from our house, and it's where I've done most of my leash training with the dogs.

I've spent a lot of time (and MANY miles!) working on her leash skills, and it definitely does show. I'm feeling ambitious today, so I think I'm going to try and walk around the entire lake, an 8-1/2 to 9 mile loop: http://www.ebparks.org/files/EBRPD_f...bot_detail.pdf
