May I ask..... How many dogs do you have? Are they all different? I'm curious I see you have a Belgian Malinois, will Remy be the only GSD in your pack or are their others? Can we see some pictures? I love Belgian Malinois

Remy is the only dog in my household, we do have a cat, and each of them are trying to adjust. One dog is plenty and I plan on keeping that way for quite some time. I want to dedicate my time to him and not have to split time to devote to another dog. |

Bella is a beauty!
Remy is adorable. Did you have a good experience with the Belgian Malinois? Do you think that you would ever get another one in the future? ![]() Sorry about all of the questions, just curious about the breed.

She is the healthiest dog we have ever had. I was involved with some people that train dogs for the police departments in the surrounding area, and they described a Malinois as a GSD on crack (which is the truth), and they described a Dutch Shepherd as a Malinois on crack! I wanted a Dutch until I heard that comment, although I don't have experience with a Dutch so I can't comment on the validity of the latter part of the statement. My dad wants another Mal, but my mom says she can't take that much energy, they need to have a job or they will create their own job. I won't be getting a Mal until I am confident in my ability to handle a high drive dog. I must admit that when we got her, we were a bit shocked at how much energy she had. She has leveled off to a great dog, she still has so much energy even at 10 year. If you can handle a high drive GSD, you will be more than capable of handling a Mal in my opinion. Thank you for the comments by the way! |
