May I ask..... How many dogs do you have? Are they all different? I'm curious I see you have a Belgian Malinois, will Remy be the only GSD in your pack or are their others?

Can we see some pictures? I love Belgian Malinois

The Malinois, Bella, is actually my parents dog, well, she started off as mine, but when I moved out she stayed with my parents. You can see some photos in my profile of her, I can post them here if you would like me to if it makes it easier.

Remy is the only dog in my household, we do have a cat, and each of them are trying to adjust. One dog is plenty and I plan on keeping that way for quite some time. I want to dedicate my time to him and not have to split time to devote to another dog.

Bella is a beauty!

Remy is adorable.

Did you have a good experience with the Belgian Malinois? Do you think that you would ever get another one in the future?

Sorry about all of the questions, just curious about the breed.

Don't be sorry! The questions are great! We have had a great experience with her!

She is the healthiest dog we have ever had. I was involved with some people that train dogs for the police departments in the surrounding area, and they described a Malinois as a GSD on crack (which is the truth), and they described a Dutch Shepherd as a Malinois on crack! I wanted a Dutch until I heard that comment, although I don't have experience with a Dutch so I can't comment on the validity of the latter part of the statement.

My dad wants another Mal, but my mom says she can't take that much energy, they need to have a job or they will create their own job. I won't be getting a Mal until I am confident in my ability to handle a high drive dog. I must admit that when we got her, we were a bit shocked at how much energy she had. She has leveled off to a great dog, she still has so much energy even at 10 year. If you can handle a high drive GSD, you will be more than capable of handling a Mal in my opinion.

Thank you for the comments by the way!
