My weekend away. by Wolfie

Mom and Dad took me to the beach house for the weekend. I was so excited as soon as I got there I had to let all the dogs in the neighborhood know I was back. Then while Mom and Dad cleaned the yard, I was trying to catch those buzzy things they call bees out of the tree. Then, I found a dead squirrel and brought it to Mom. I thought she would like it, but she freaked out. I decided if she didn't want it, I wouldn't let her have it. Then she wanted it, and I made her chase me all around the yard for it. The next day we went to the beach I had fun playing with a miniature collie and a mini dacshund . I also went for a swim and carried shells and shook out all the seaweed I could find. When we goe home, Mom hosed all the salt and sand off of me . I ran around the yard, but I was very tired. We went inside and I slept the rest of the afternoon. This morning I got up and sat with Mom ont he porch while she had tea. Then we played hide and seek. Mom found me downstairs in my brother's room. I can go down the stairs all by myself now! I am not afraid anymore! Then it was time to go home. We got in the car, and I was so sad to leave. Mom said we can go back next weekend! Hooray! Love, Wolfie!

What a wonderful weekend Wolfie had! My Bo was born on the same day, and looks a lot like Wolfie!

I can see Wolfie changing already. I hope he keeps his black face. Both his parents are black and red, but his dad is mostly black.
