Default Scarface

Poor Hope, she just can't get a break.

Her ears were probably beautiful before her past owner neglected her terribly and let them get so infected she scratched them to pieces and got hematomas and the scarring crinkled them all up.

And now a reactive dog latched onto her face and gave her another bit of "junk yard dog chic" look... A nice line across her face. A quite reactive weim latched onto her nose for a quite horrific contest of tug of war.

And still she takes it all in stride and doesn't harbor ill will to strange dogs.

It sure left a mark, I hope it's not permanent.

It's great that she doesn't hold any grudges to strange dogs. She may always have that scar, but I doubt it will matter, she looks like a sweet girl. I got so mad at my cat for biting Bear's ear. It wouldn't stand up for about a week after that, and I thought it never would. He looked so goofy, one straight up and the other just flopped down.

Thanks,

She is a super sweet dog, loves everyone, a bit hyper friendly.

It was half my fault I wasn't paying attention when she stuck her nose in this dogs face.

She does that a lot, running up to strange dogs to lick their face. They do not all appreciate the offer though most just snarl or growl or snip, not latch onto her face like an alligator.

She is pretty unflappable though, the more something startles her or surprises her and such the more drive she has to go check it out in detail to her satisfaction. She didn't show fear or aggression in return, just confusion and surprise.

Not long after the dog bit her, she seemed even more determined to go make it her friend.

She has every reason to be a total disaster of a dog, I think I'm pretty lucky she's not.
