Cool Halo models her new backpack!

I don't think she likes it much yet, but she sure looks cute in it!

Sit!

Down!

Stand!

A little trailblazing in the raised beds

"Hey, whatchoo lookin' at?"

"Iz this my good side?"

"You like this side better?"

"Are we DONE yet?"

SOOOO Cute. Can't wait til Cullen is older so he can carry his own! Already tired of lugging the backpack of " the needed items" everywhere we go!

Looking sharp! That's the same one Kayla has. Did you get it online? I got Kayla's at REI. And it's time to hookup Sir Lancelot.

Samuel, I got it at arcatapet.com. GREAT price - $59.49. The total including tax and priority mail ($3.21) was $68.05. I ordered it Thursday, it shipped Friday, and I got it Saturday.

Yes, I am SO looking forward to that! She's too young to carry anything yet, (she'll be 16 months old on Tuesday, I had planned to wait on a pack until she was at least a year and a half) but I may have her wear the empty pack for a couple months to get her used to it.

I have a very streamlined fanny pack that I bring for training walks (which are usually 3-1/2 to 4 miles of rolling hills) with Halo, it holds a water bottle for each of us with a tiny pack between them that's just big enough for a collapsible water dish, extra poop bags, my cell phone, and the car keys. I got spoiled with Keefer because he's already got a pack and I have him carry EVERYTHING, even sometimes my big heavy camera!

That looks great on Halo.

I bought the same Ruffwear pack for Sophie. I really like their products.

Very cute. I may have to get one for my new boy when he gets here.

Make him carry my cigars and scotch.... kidding. LOL

But would be nice for his water and foldable bowl and some poop bags.

I agree, they're really, really well made. Keefer has the older model Approach, and while it's nice, I can see some improvements in the newer version - the packs are a bit smaller, which is fine by me, I haven't even come close to filling his up, and more streamlined. The new Approach also holds the packs against their body better with that loop that the girth straps go through, his pack does not have that. I might take it to work and have them sew something similar on it, or even a strip of velcro to hold it in place.
