Thank you everyone for your well wishes!! I've been busy hanging on every picture my breeder sends me or posts. I simply can not wait to go and see my new bundle soon! I'm fortunate to be getting first pick of the males. Any tips on how to choose one?

You should let the breeder know what activities you'd like to do with your pup, future goals, what type of training or agility, showing you'll be doing...let the breeder pick the puppy that best matches you. This may not be done til they hopefully test at about 7 weeks, so love and take pics of them all!

Wow, I didn't know about the test. I had not ever heard of that before. Is that common place for shepherds or all dogs? Interesting....makes sense though.

All dogs, most breeder should be doing this if they are breeding working/sport dogs. That would include our "herding" breed...

Now, unless you want the puppy picture police coming to your house, we had better see a lot more pictures.

I did speak with my breeder and she said she will be testing the litter. On a different subject, I noticed that a new thread asked about your dog sleeping with you. I'm not sure what will happen with my pup since it is just the two of us, but just "say" I wanted him to be on the bed, at what age would you suggest I take him out of his crate?
