I am sooo sorry for your loss. I can't begin to imagine how you are dealing with this pain. I do agree that the love of a GSD has absolutely no comparison. Mine is my best friend and my unconditional companion. So I can totally feel your pain. RIP, she was a beautiful girl. She's up in heaven making others happy now

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Some days are good and others it feels like a hole ripped into my heart. Like frenchie, she was my best friend and my baby. I held her in my lap, her head in my arms, whispering into her ears as she left this world, much as I held her the day I got her. They say you take the pain on yourself in order to relieve theirs.
Even though she has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, I know she will be there to meet me when I finally get there. And like each of you I am sure, whether your baby is here on earth or has moved on (much to fast for our desires) you have a devotion to the German Shepherd. The German Shepherd is a proud, loyal and in our homes, a comical breed at times. They live to please you and will die to protect you. They have a stature and pride that is unmatched. And when more time has passed and my heart has healed enough I hope that I will again be able to provide a loving, caring home to another little furball. Until then I still count myself as one of you, a German Shepherd owner and dang proud of it! |

thank you. I am biased and considered her so beautiful. She had chocolate eyes that could melt any heart.

Binky was a beautiful dog with such sweet, soulful eyes. The pain of such a loss never really goes away, but time does help to dull it and make it more manageable. My condolences.

She looked very young at 10 years, beautiful girl indeed
![]() I can understand your pain, we lost our poodle in November but time heals all wounds. When the time comes, we'd love to see your next baby whenever that is. You are still a GSD owner
