Looking for a trained PPD
I have same questions. I am highly interested in a trained PPD. Does anyone have experience with cpi or Harisok k9. I have heard some horror stories about cpi selling dogs with major health issues.
I have also heard carmspack.com is a very good place. |

I'm not able to help you with any of that but I will let you know, the first question you're likely to get asked here is why do you want a PPD? What are you looking for in a dog in terms of family engagement? Will the dog be a part of the family? Do you have other pets the dog would need to get along with?

I want a PPD to protect myself and mostly my family . In terms of engagement i want a dog that will have calm nerves around children and really be part of the family. I have a 2 year old yorky and a 4 year old male pure bred Shepherd with plenty of space to run around in my enclosed backyard.

It is very difficult to answer your emails more than I have because you are not giving any information about yourself . This last bit immediately above my reply is the most you have revealed about your situation.
you have a 4 year old male -- why not have him trained?? |

Keep in mind - even if you spend $10,000+ on a pre-trained PPD GSD, that doesn't mean it'll be loyal to you and protect your family.

In my opinion, most of these high dollar companies are advertising to people that don't know the difference, which is why they advertise in the Robb Report. The audience is people with more money than sense.
I have watched the videos of some of these "type" of dogs, and it's clear that they are catering to a clientele that has no idea what they are looking at. When you charge $40,000 and up for dogs, it does not take too many dogs per year to make a living. Like P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute".
