Nice. Did you get a good taste of tail?
The first time (only time) we practiced the car jacking was pretty hilarious. First he had never been in the front of a car and jumped out the window before I finished getting in the car. Then as I got out he thought I was playing with him/hiding and ran around and to my side, nipping me in embarassment. Then we got back in and he sat backwards in the seat. Eventually turned sideways and stuck his butt in my face furiously whipping me with his tail. I dont have a vehicle I can practice with and dont want my seats ripped up so its tough. He is always in the back. I'll have to find a way to get some more practice in.
Where are you trialing in September? You should come to MA for the East Regionals October 6.

We did the carjack scenario for the first time on Monday, Koda did fantastic, so proud of him.

Except I got a freakin cramp that won't go away!

It's ok, it takes practice haha. My entering the car with Jerry is never pretty! He always jumps in the back first, then comes up front and faces me. I have to turn him and hope that the conversing decoy catches his attention (it always does) then its all good. So don't feel bad at all. As long as your dog will bite the hidden then out and post alert you will be in the good! Getting in the car is not judged.

The sept trial already passed when I saw your post. Sorry

we held it at our club in St Anne, IL MWDA. It was out Midwest Regionals. My Dobe qualified for Nationals in the level ones do I will be in Cinci in Nov.

@SilentDobe: That is great. Best of luck at the Nationals. I won't be going but several members from our club will be there. Look for Steve with his Dutch Shepherd Fosco. Fosco is always fun to watch.
