Congratulations. I just saw Thad & Jeffyn at the CT trial this past weekend. Thad is a good judge. Are you training with him or Cheryl?

You wouldn't have met me, I have stayed in NE. Last time I was in Mi was for Cheryl C's trial in 91. I got the second leg of my Ring 1 on my first GSD there. Thad and Jeffyn know me. I have a DS named Ry that Thad has taken bites from. I only poke at trials here and there. Unfortunately I have severe trial nerves which has kept me as a hobby handler. Though I just entered my DS in PSA trial and we got our PSA 1 with a very respectable showing. I didn't know anyone from the PSA world, minimal nerves, so I handled pretty well. The cross training in Mondio really helped for the PSA distractions.
My club is Mainely Ringsport. The club was a NARA club, then Belgian Ring which never really took off. The club has gone to Mondio. We are having a trial and decoy selection the end of Sept. My husband is Mac McCluskey. My husband is our club decoy and on the different forums with other decoys, ring people. So many people know him. Renaissance is holding a trial in Oct that I plan on entering. I hope to travel a little more to trials next year. DH and I have 8 dogs and its hard to travel. One of us can travel, one stays home to care for animals. At the moment we don't have anyone with enough dog experience to dog sit. We have a few dogs that can't mix and we don't want to take any chances. Once we get up a kennel building with indoor/outdoor runs it'll be different. Good for you for being out there with is a GSD. As much as I am working a DS, I will always be a GSD person first. I just picked up a female DS pup out of Christine J's Titan/Balen litter. Great pup. Very drivey, extremely social. From the 2nd night home at 7.5 wks, sleeps through the night, no accidents at all in the crate. No accidents in the house (under nonstop supervision of course).
